Quinn Culkin Biography:
Quinn Kay Culkin was born in New York City on November 8th 1984 to parents Kit Culkin and Patricia Brentrup. She was named after her father’s close friend Anthony Quinn while her middle name is shared with her grandmother. Quinn’s father was an ex -Broadway performer and a number of her siblings had already appeared on stage and tv, as a result Quinn developed a desire to become an actress from a young age. One of five children; which later grew to 7, Quinn lived in a small apartment while her father worked as a sacristan for a local catholic church and her mother worked as a telephone operator.
Macaulay Culkin Sister:
With the help of her parents, Quinn’s ambitions were realized in 1990 when she appeared alongside her brother Macaulay Culkin in the now classic Home Alone. The following year she landed a voice acting role in the Saturday morning cartoon Wish Kid’ as Katie McClary; a series about a child with a magical baseball glove also staring Macaulay Culkin. She has voice credits in all 13 episodes which began with a live-action portion before moving on to animation.
Her Final credit came in 1993 thriller “The Good Son” where she played the part of Connie Evans, once again alongside her brother and Elijah Wood. A rare foray by the Culkins into R-rated work this, unfortunately, led to a turn in fortunes for the acting family.
“The Good Son” was Quinn’s last starring role.
