Carolyn Murphy is a famous American model and actress. She was born on August 11, 1975 in Panama City, Florida, United States. She started modelling locally in Florida also abroad in Japan and Paris. In 1994 she was first hired for Prada and made her appearance in magazines like Harpers Bazaar and Vogue. In 1995 she made her appearance in the ads for Dolce Gabbana, Max Mara and Calvin Klein. She was named VH1/Vogue’s “Model of the Year” in 1998. Her first advertising campaign for the brand’s “Defining Beauty” began appearing in 2002. She has also shot for Missoni, Versace and Tiffany & Co. In 2012 she was hired to replace Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as a host for the second full-season Project Runway All Stars on Lifetime, after Huntington-Whiteley dropped out for a film project.
