Blair Erwin Underwood better known as Blair Underwood is a famous American actor and director. He was born on August 25, 1964 in Tacoma, Washington, United States. He is the son of Frank E. Underwood, Sr. and Marilyn Ann Scales Underwood. He started his career in 1985 by playing the role Russell Walker in the film Krush Groove. In the same year he made his debut in TV series Knight Rider in which he played the role of Potts. In 1993 he made his appearance in the film Posse in which he appeared as Carver. In 1998 he played the role Mark Simon in the film Deep Impact. In 2003 he made his appearance in the film Malibu’s Most Wanted in which he played the role Tom Gibbons. In 2005 he produce a film Straight Out of Compton 2. He made his next appearance in the film Something New in which he appeared as Mark Harper. In 2009 he directed a film The Bridge to Nowhere. In 2011 he portrayed the role Principal Bill Martinson in the film The Art of Getting By. In 2012 he made his appearance in the film Woman Thou Art Loosed: On the 7th Day in which he made his appearance as David Ames. In 2013 he appeared in the TV series Ironside as main cast by playing the role Robert Ironside.
On September 17, 1994 he married Desiree DaCosta and the couple has three childen Paris, Brielle and Blake.
